Ivor Novello Nomination

I know awards are meant to be meaningless and somewhat arbitrary, but I couldn’t help being absolutely delighted to receive a nomination for an Ivor Novello Award this year, for my score for 2022’s Elizabeth: The Unseen Queen! I was especially excited because the Ivors have such an illustrious history and the juries are made up of a very talented group of my peers (I have no idea who on this occasion, I hasten to add!) There is obviously enormous competition for ‘Best Television Soundtrack’ which includes drama as well as documentary so I feel very honoured. Thank you to the Ivors Academy for the nomination, and I look forward to the big event on the 18th May!
